1. This matter is taken up by hybrid mode.

2. The Original Application after being transferred from the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition, has been registered as a writ petition before this Court on 29.11.2021.

3. On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that the matter was never taken up after 23.11.2012.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the applicant had sought for a direction to allow him to participate in the selection process for the post of PHEO under the Govt. Department of Health and Family Welfare. It is submitted that the matter has been rendered infructuous by efflux of time.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed having become infructuous.
