Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in connection with G.R. Case No.235 of 2022, pending in the Court of the learned J.M.F.C., Bangomunda, arising out of Sindhekela P.S. Case No.149 dtd.24.07.2022, for alleged commission of offences under Sections 498-A/494/294/506/34 of IPC.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kantabanji, by order dated 02.11.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Taking into account the period of custody from 02.11.2022 and as investigation has progressed substantially, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin over the matter.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
