This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Upon verification of records, Mr.R.N. Mishra, learned AGA submits that the prayer involved in the present writ petition is for payment of financial benefits. Further verification reveals that the Petitioner was aged about 50 years at the time of filing of the present writ petition and by now, he must have been retired from service after attaining the age of superannuation.

In such view of the matter, the writ petition has become infructuous and the same is accordingly disposed of. However, it is open for the Petitioner to approach the Court by way of filing fresh writ petition, if the cause of action still survives. .
