This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner, by means of this writ petition, seeks to quash the order dated 10.04.2017 in Annexure-3, so far as it relates to the petitioner, whereby the petitioner, whose name appears at serial no.13 and who had been appointed as ORS Group-B Officer by way of promotion, has been reverted to his parent post, i.e., Head Clerk, Collectorate, Sambalpur. 3.

It is agreed by learned counsel for the parties that the issue involved in this writ petition is analogous to one involved in WPC (OAC) No.913 of 2017 which has been allowed vide judgment dated 06.08.2021, by this Court.

Therefore, in view of the detailed reasons stated in the judgment and order dated 06.08.2021 passed in WPC (OAC) No. 913 of 2017, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the said judgment. 5.

Accordingly, this Court quashes the impugned order of reversion in Annexure-3 dated 10.04.2017, so far as it relates to the petitioner and remits the matter back to the authority concerned to reconsider the same and pass appropriate order by affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in compliance of the principles of natural justice. 6.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
