3. 1. This matter is taken up by hybrid mode.

2. When the matter was taken up on 3.3.2022, it was adjourned on the prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. When the matter was listed on 29.3.2022, none had appeared for the petitioner and to grant another opportunity, the matter was adjourned to 26.04.2022, i.e., today.

4. None appears for the petitioner when the matter is taken up today.

5. Mr. Praharaj, learned Standing Counsel submits that on the basis of instruction received from O.P. NO.2-Collector & District Magistrate, Angul on 28.3.2022 addressed to the office of the Advocate General submits that the petitioner has got promotion to the post of R.I. on 3.6.2014 and joined subsequently on 13.6.2014.

6. Copy of the said instruction filed along with a Memo is kept on record.

7. From the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel, it is apparent that though the Original Application was filed on

23.5.2013, in the next year itself, the petitioner got promotion after the notices were issued on 27.8.2013 by the learned Tribunal. That could be a reason for the petitioner not pursuing the matter.

8. In any event, the petition is rendered infructuous.

9. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
