This matter is taken up today in the 4th National Lok Adalat. Order No.

This appeal is preferred by the Insurance Company challenging the award dated 5th July, 2022 passed by the 4th Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Jajpur Road in MAC Case No.127 of 2019.

Learned counsels representing the Appellant-Insurance Company as well as Respondents-Claimants have submitted that they are agreed to finally settle the case at Rs.13,00,000/- along with 6% interest per annum from the date of filing of the claim application. In this regard, he has filed a joint compromise sheet, which be kept on record.

As per the terms and conditions of the compromise petition, the appeal is disposed of by modifying the award dated 5th July, 2022 to the extent that the Appellant-Insurance Company shall pay Rs.13,00,000/- with 6% interest per annum from the date of filing of the claim application to the Respondents-Claimants as has been apportioned in the award within period of eight weeks from today. Further, the right of recovery granted under the award dated 5th July, 2022 is hereby confirmed.
