Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to correct the description of name of the Court in seisin and the police station in the prayer portion of the BLAPL in Court today. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. Case No.1419 of 2022, pending in the Court of the learned S.D.J.M., Balangir, arising out of Balangir Town P.S. Case No.471 of 2022, for commission of alleged offences under Sections 452/341/294/354(A)/509/506/34 of IPC.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned Sessions Judge, Balangir, by order dated 07.11.2022 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner is in custody since 27.09.2022 and since charge-sheet has been filed on 15.11.2022, further continuance of the petitioner in custody is unwarranted.

Considering the nature of allegations and the period of custody, this Court directs the petitioner to be released on bail on such terms to be fixed by the learned Court in seisin. 7.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of.
