The petitioner in this writ petition seeks direction to the opposite parties to release the gratuity, pension and other service benefits in his favour as admissible along with 18% interest per annum with effect from 31.12.2007, i.e. from the date of retirement of the petitioner from service.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the provisional pension has already released in favour of the petitioner. 5.
In view of the above, the authorities are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for final pension and all other consequential benefits as due and admissible to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
