This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel.

The present writ application has been filed with a pryer for a direction to the Sub-Collector, Jajpur to conclude the enquiry pending before him within a stipulated time.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that on 03.02.2022 the Petitioner went to the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, Akarpada to sell his paddy, but the Secretary of the said Society did not accept the paddy offered by the Petitioner. However, the Petitioner waited for some time and even thereafter also the Secretary of the Society denied to purchase the paddy offered by the Petitioner. Being aggrieved by such conduct of the Secretary of the Primary Agricultural Co-operative Society,

// 2 // Akarpada, the Petitioner approached the Government in Food Security and Consumer Welfare Department, Collector, Jajpur and the Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. by filing complaint before them. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the Petitioner, the Sub-Collector, Jajpur initiated an enquiry on the grievance petition of the Petitioner vide his letter No.751 dated 17.08.2022. The Sub-Collector asked the Petitioner to remain present before him on 20.08.2022 for hearing of the enquiry. However, the hearing did not take place. Thereafter it is alleged that the matter is being adjourned from day to day, but enquiry is not concluded. 5.

Considering the limited nature of grievance, the writ application is disposed of directing the Sub-Collector, Jajpur, Opposite Party No.5 to conclude the enquiry within two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. In the event such enquiry is still pending before him by providing an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner. Further final order so passed be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter. 6.

With the aforesaid observation the writ application stands disposed of.
