This application involves the following relief:- "Relief sought for:

Appropriate Direction be issued to the Respondents to sanction compassionate grant in the enhanced rate as per Finance Department Resolution No.

Pen/64/2001/53885/F dt.

02.11.2001 and Resolution dated 17.8.2010 in favour of the applicant i.e. S/899 Santosh Kumar Bhol of OSAP 3rd Bn., Koraput who was injured in Naxal attack on 13.03.2001 and to bear all medical expenses by way of reimbursement.

And Pass such other directions/ issue such other orders as this Hon'ble Tribunal may deem fit and proper."

Even though this application was filed in the year 2013 before the Orissa Administrative Tribunal, on being transferred to this Court on closure of the Tribunal this matter is taken up by this Court. Though notice in this matter was issued on 26.09.2013, no such counter affidavit has been filed in this matter as yet. To avoid any further loss

// 2 // of time, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.1 to consider the grievance of the Petitioner in this petition by treating the same as a representation at the instance of the Petitioner and take a lawful decision on the relief sought for by the Petitioner. 3.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order alongwith a copy of the brief by the Petitioner. 4.
