1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. The petitioner files the original application for aggrieved by the non-consideration of his case for appointment through selection to the vacant post of ICDS supervisor, vacant due to retirement of UR category, and giving appointment to SEBC candidate to the post meant for UR category in excess of quota in violation of ORV Act.
3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has died on 15.10.2015, which has been communicated by the office order No.1410 dated 25.05.2017. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has not received any instructions from the petitioner.
4. Since the petitioner has died, by efflux of time, the cause of action as heeded in the original application has lost its significance. The writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
