IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK

WPC(OAC) No.3754 of 2013 Dhaneswar Nayak ....

Petitioner Mr. D. Pattanayak, Advocate -versusState of Odisha and others ....

Opposite Parties Mr. S. Mishra, SC CORAM: JUSTICE S.K. PANIGRAHI

ORDER

11.03.2022 Order No.

01.

1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The petitioner was working as Headmaster in Ghantagodia U.G.U.P. School in Champua Block in the district of Keonjhar. The petitioner and two other teachers went for C.T. training in 1982 as in-service candidates. However, in the gradation list published by the DEO, the names of two others teachers have been shown as Sl No.16 and 19 stating that they were teachers appointed from 1982. Hence, the petitioner filed O.A., which later has been transferred to this Court.

3. It is reflected in the verification column of the O.A. that the age of the petitioner is 55 at that point of time. Now, he must have reached the age of superannuation. In view of such facts, the case seems to have lost its significance. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.

4. The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the Court afresh, if any cause of action survives.
