This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.

(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner for a direction to the Opposite Parties to finalize and calculate the arrear service benefits, retiral benefits, pensionary benefits and family pension payable to the deceased husband of the Petitioner, as due and admissible in law and the same shall be disbursed within a stipulated period of time.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner had filed a representation dated 16.01.2012 (Annexure-4 series) before the Superintendent of Police, Bolangir-Opposite Party No.3 to dispose of the said representation within a stipulated period of time.

In such view of the matter and as the original application has been since the year 2012, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Opposite Party No.3 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 16.01.2012 (Annexure-4 series), if the same are still pending and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioner within ten days thereafter.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
