1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The present petitioner filed an O.A. before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack challenging the impugned notification i.e. final selection list of contractual teachers TG (Arts) of Angul District for the year 2013-2014 issued by the opposite party No.3, which has later been transferred to this Court after closure of the OAT.

3. The petitioner challenges the action of the opposite party No.3 in rejecting his candidature for the post of contract teacher in Government high school including upgraded high school during the year 2013-2014 in the district of Angul.

4. Since the advertisement pertaining to the year 2013-2014 and the recruitment process has already been over, the cause of action seems to have lost its significance.

5. In such view of the matter, the WPC (OAC) is disposed of as infructuous.

6. However, the petitioner is free to approach the Court afresh, if any cause of action survives.
