1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The petitioner was serving as a Range Officer in Athamallik KL Range from 2008 to 2009. It is stated that after a long gap of time, an audit party inspected and objected and suggested for the recovery of the cost of 64 bundles of KL and the petitioner was directed to submit the compliance report within seven days, vide letter No.295 dated 17.02.2012. The Divisional Forest Officer (KL), Athamallik Division, FO vide memo No. 3442 dated 18.12.2012, served a showcause notice to the petitioner. The petitioner vide letter dated 31.12.2012, submitted his response. Thereafter, the DFO vide memo No.809 dated 15.04.2013, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.28,177/-. Pursuant to the said the petitioner appealed to the opposite party No.1 mentioning the lack of in-depth investigation by the audit party. In such view of the matter, the petitioner has filed this petition to quash the order dated 15.04.2013 issued by the opposite party No.3.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court dated 23.03.2022 passed

// 2 // in WPC (OAC) No.3936 of 2013 and, as such, the present case may be disposed of in terms of the said order.

4. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 23.03.2022 passed in W.P.C.(OAC) No.3936 of 2013. In the result, the impugned order dated 15.04.2013 issued by the DFO (KL), Athamallik under Annexure-3 is hereby quashed.
