Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kosagumuda P.S. Case No.154/2015 corresponding to T.R. No.27/2020 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nabarangpur for the alleged commission of the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

Considering the submissions made, the materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that several co-accused persons have already been released on bail as per order passed by this Court in BLAPL Nos.544/2021, 549/2021, 2965/2021, 9172/2020 and 8172/2020, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the court in seisin over the matter in the aforesaid case including the condition that he shall appear before the trial court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

The BLAPL is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
