1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode. Order No.

The grievance of the Petitioners is that though the deceased, Bhanuprava Pradhan, who happens to be the only bread earner of the family member of the Petitioners died in electrocution due to negligence of the opposite parties-power distribution company, but they have not been paid compensation in spite of the representation made, vide Annexure-5. Hence, they have filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the opposite parties to pay the compensation.

3. During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that it would suffice if opposite party no.1 is directed to consider the aforesaid representation made in this regard and pass necessary order on the same.

Considering the aforesaid facts and the submissions made, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merit of such representation, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.1 to consider and dispose of the said representation made, vide Annexure-5, if the same has not been disposed of yet and intimate the decision thereof to the Petitioners not later than two months of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

5. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
