None appears for the petitioner, when the matter is called.

When the matter was taken up on 09.03.2022, none had appeared for the petitioner and considering the submissions of the learned Addl. Govt. Advocate and the matter in some detail, the following order was passed:- "The Original Application having been transferred from the learned Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition, has been registered before this Court on 6.12.2021.

On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal it is indicated that the matter was never taken up after 14.2.2014.

The O.A. was filed by the petitioner/applicant who was 51 years of age in the year 2013, working as Asst. Engineer, Jambhira Canal, Division No. II, Moroda, Dist. Mayurbhanj, inter alia, seeking a direction for regularization of his services by regularizing the period of suspension which he had suffered w.e.f. 6.1.2003 and till his re-instatement by order dated 14.1.2014.

It is submitted by learned AGA that considering the nature of grievance raised before the learned Tribunal and the fact that thematter

// 2 // was never pursued for eight years, nothing would survive for adjudication in the present writ petition. 5.

To grant another opportunity to the petitioner, list on 5.4.2022."
