This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

None appears for the Petitioner at the time of call. Heard Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State. Perused the record.

The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to direct the Opposite Parties to sanction and disburse the gratuity amount along with interest.

In response to the notice, the Opposite Party No.3 has already filed the Counter Affidavit and in last but one paragraph of the Counter Affidavit, it has been stated as follows:- "That it is humbly submitted that the Final "No Dues Certificate" in respect of the applicant was furnished by the last office, i.e. O/o the Engineer-in-Chief, Water Resources, vide letter dtd. 27.03.2017. The same was received in this Deptt. on 28.03.2017. As such, the A.G. (A&E) Odisha, was requested to release his withheld gratuity since no Government dues is pending against him vide this Deptt. letter dtd. 30.03.2017. A copy of the letter dtd.30.03.2017 is annexed as Annexure-A/1." 5.

In view of the above, the relief sought by the Petitioner having been granted, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Arun (DR. B.R. SARANGI) JUDGE
