Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Counsel for School & Mass Education Department contended that since the relief sought by the petitioner has already been extended, the cause of action no more subsists for the Petitioner.

Mr. N. Rath, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of directing the authorities to conclude the departmental proceeding as early as possible. 5.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the opposite parties to conclude the proceeding, if the same is still pending and there is no other impediment, within a period of four months from the date of communication of the order. Arun (DR. B.R. SARANGI) JUDGE
