1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. This matter has been transferred from the Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack to this Court.

3. The applicant-petitioner is an eligible candidate in the R.I. recruitment test held by the Collector, Cuttack vide Advertisement No.1394 dated 26.04.2012. The petitioner seeks to direct the respondents to publish a revised select list as per the reservation quota and appoint him as per the recruitment rules.

3. Since the advertisement was of the year, 2012, the cause of action might have lost its significance. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous.
