This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The writ petition has been renumbered and registered before this Court on 01.12.2021 after being transferred, upon abolition of the State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. On perusal of the available order-sheet of the learned Tribunal, it is found that the matter was never taken up after 16.11.2012.

Government Advocate referring to the averments made in the writ petition submits that the petitioner moved the learned Tribunal after retiring on 31.01.1998 seeking the relief for getting revised scale of pay as per the ORSP Rules,1989 and Time Bound Advancement Scale of Pay.

Considering the nature of grievance raised in the original application, nothing survives to be
