This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for both the parties.

This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner praying for a direction to the Opposite Parties to allow Trained Graduate Scale of Pay to the Petitioner with effect from 02.09.1986, i.e. the date when he had acquired the qualification of Trained Graduate in Hindi and further prays for a direction to consider the case of the Petitioner for promotion to the post of Headmaster after fixation of his seniority in Trained Graduate Cadre.

On perusal of the writ petition, it is seen that the grievance of the Petitioner is pending before the Authority for consideration vide representation dated 17.03.2010 under Annexure-10. 5.
In such view of the matter, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Commissioner-cum-
// 2 // Secretary to Govt. of Orissa, School and Mass Education Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 to dispose of the said representation of the Petitioner dated 17.03.2010 under Annexure-10 within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. In such event, Opposite Party No.1 shall consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days.

It is needless to mention here that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. 7.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
