This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

The present application has been filed with a prayer to direct the Opposite Parties to allow promotion to the post of O.F.S. Class-II scale of pay of Rs.9,000/- - Rs.34,000/- with grade pay of Rs.4,600/- for the year 2006-07, which is upgraded to O.F.S. -I (JB) from 28.02.2009 in the scale of Rs.15,600/- - Rs.39,000/- with grade pay of Rs.5,400/- within a stipulated period of time. 3.
Although the Original Application was filed before the Orissa Administrative Tribunal in the year 2011, the same could not be decided by the Tribunal and therefore after demolition of the Tribunal, the matter has been transferred to this Court and renumbered as 'WPC(OA) No.218 of 2011'.

Considering the limited grievance involved in the writ application and the fact that the Petitioner was aged about 59 years at the time of filing Original Application before the Tribunal, this
// 2 // Court in the interest of justice and without keeping this matter pending disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Appropriate Authority to consider/calculate and pay the dues of the Petitioner on account of gratuity, pension, insurance etc, if the same is not paid to him as yet, if there is no legal impediment, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
