The petitioner is stated to have filed a petition U/S. 28-A of the L.A. Act, 1894 vide Annexure- 2 before the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Tikhali, KhariarOpp. Party No.2. The said petition is stated to be pending since 2013. 4.

Regard being had to the facts and submissions and the nature of relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Indra Irrigation ProjectOpp. Party No.2, to dispose of the aforesaid petition vide Annexure-2 in accordance with law, if pending, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this Order or true soft copy available in the Orissa High Court's website.

The petitioner is directed to supply a copy of the writ petition containing all the Annexures along with a certified copy of this Order to Opp. Party No.2 for convenience & reference to Annexure-2. 6.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 7.

As restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned Advocate, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587, dated 25th March, 2020, modified by Notice No.4798, dated 15th April, 2021, and Court's Office Order circulated vide Memo Nos.514 and 515, dated 7th January, 2022.
