1. The instant intra court appeal is directed against the order dated 5th November,2021 passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby the appellant/petitioner was relegated to raise his grievances by way of representation before the DG-cum-IG of police, Odisha in respect of his illegal reversion from the rank of Havildar to Constable on account of repatriation to their first/parent district of enrolment.

2. It is pointed out that the order of reversion dated 25th October,2021 of the appellant-petitioner was initially stayed by an interim order dated 23.11.2021 passed by this Court and hence the appellantpetitioner continued in the rank of Havildar till today.

3. At the time of hearing, it is stated that the DGP has issued a circular dated 19.04.2022, whereby the repartition/reversion suffered by the police personnel like the appellant has been recalled and the

// 2 // consequential benefits restored. Copy of the said circular dated 19.04.2022 as produced before this Court is taken on record.

4. Mr. L. Samantaray, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondent submits that in terms of the circular dated 19th April,2022, the appellant would continue in his earlier post and would be entitled to get the service benefits and consequently the Writ Appeal has become infructuous.

In view of the aforesaid agreed stand, the present Writ Appeal is disposed of as infructuous.
