Braja Kishore Mohapatra v. State Of Odisha
IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
WPC(OAC) No. 4254 of 2012 Braja Kishore Mohapatra ....
Petitioner Mr. Manoj Kumar Mohanty, Advocate -versusState of Odisha & others ....
Opp. Parties Mr. Sangram Jena, SC (S & ME)
CORAM:
JUSTICE M.S. SAHOO Order No.
ORDER
17.02.2022 01.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
RJ The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 1st December, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned Odisha Administrative Tribunal upon its abolition.
On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that the matter was never taken up after 18.01.2013.
Learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that he does not have up-to-date instruction to pursue the litigation.
It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that by efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous as the applicant had prayed for getting promotion and during pendency, he has retired from service since almost about 10 years.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of having become infructuous.
