CORAM:
JUSTICE M.S. SAHOO Order No.
ORDER
17.02.2022 01.
RJ This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 1st December, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned State Administrative Tribunal upon it's abolition.
On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that the matter was never taken up after 23.07.2013.
It is submitted by the learned Addl. Govt. Advocate that the applicant before the learned Tribunal had challenged the selection process for recruitment to the Orissa Police Service, Orissa Prisons Service and Orissa Fire Service in the year 2011, result of which was published in 2012. The applicant/petitioner had prayed for change of her category from SC (Women) to SEBC. Since no interim order was passed by the learned Tribunal regarding the publication of the result and consequences thereof, it is submitted that after 10 years,
// 2 // nothing survives in the litigation.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to revive the writ petition within sixty days, for any surviving cause of action.
