The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Mr. A.P. Bose, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. K.K. Das, learned Additional Standing Counsel for Opposite Party - State.

Mr. Das, learned ASC submits upon instructions that the medical certificate vide OPD No.52587 dated 4th July 2023, as submitted on behalf of the petitioner, is a fake one as per report of the Superintendent of VSSIMSAR, Burla and no such patient named Dillip Kumar Karna (Petitioner) has ever been treated in their Department.

In view of such report, the prayer for extension of interim bail period is rejected and the Petitioner is directed to surrender immediately without further delay. It is directed that the Petitioner shall surrender on or before 15th July 2023, failing which learned court

below shall take all appropriate steps including issuance of NBW of Arrest to apprehend the Petitioner.

The I.A. is disposed of.

A copy of this order be communicated to the learned trial court without delay.

The copies of instructions submitted by Mr. Das, learned ASC are kept on record.
