CORAM:

THE CHIEF JUSTICE JUSTICE M. S. RAMAN

ORDER

23.11.2022 02.

I.A No.1080 of 2019 and WA No.684 of 2019 Order No.

1. There is an inordinate delay of 220 days in filing the present writ appeal which has not been properly explained by the Union of India. The explanation offered is mainly due to administrative reasons which cannot be considered to be acceptable as bonafide after the judgment of the Supreme Court of India in Chief Post Master General v. Living Media India Ltd. (2012) 3 SCC 563 and a series of judgments thereafter. Consequently, the Court is not inclined to condone the delay.

2. The I.A. for condonation of delay is dismissed. Consequently, the writ appeal is dismissed.
