This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners and the learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the StateOpposite Parties. 3.

Since Mr. T.K. Pattnaik, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the State-Opposite Parties accepts notice on behalf of Opposite Parties, four extra copies of the writ petition be served on him within three working days hence in order to enable him to obtain instruction in the matter in the meanwhile.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the case of the Petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in the case of Rashmi Rekha Dash v. State of Odisha & another [W.P.(C) No.16906 of 2020 disposed of on 23.11.2021]. 5.

Learned counsel for the State-Opposite Parties, on the other hand, submits that the State has preferred a writ appeal before the Division Bench of this Court wherein the judgment of the this Court in the case of Rashmi Rekha Dash (surpa) has been stayed.

In such view of the matter, list this case after disposal of the writ appeal.

As an interim measure, it is directed that since the Petitioners were working under the respective Tahasils of Kandhamal District, the Opposite Parties are directed to engage the Petitioners in case contractual employees are required by the Opposite Parties before engaging outsiders.
