This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No. 2240 of 2017 was filed before the State Administrative Tribunal, Bhubaneswar. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OA) No. 2240 of 2017.

As the Petitioner, Science Teacher found to be surplus under Nayagarh Block keeping in view, the norms of the transfer policy, he was posted in the Upper Primary School, Raimada PUPS, Daspalla Block, on account of nonavailability of Science Teacher. The representation was rejected vide office order No. 1416, dated 6th March, 2017. The grievance of the Petitioner is that though he was assured that his plight would be considered in subsequent transfer committee, the same has not been constituted which prompted him to come up before this Court.

Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that by efflux of time, the matter has been rendered infructuous.
