This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 07.12.2021 after the original application was transferred, upon abolition of the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack.

On perusal of the available order-sheet of the learned Tribunal, it is found that the matter was never taken up after 02.12.2014.

The original application was filed in the year 2013 by the petitioner, challengeing the rejection of the represetnation of the petitioner for consideration of the Sports Certificate along with relaxation of physical parameters for selection to the post of Sepoy, Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP), 4th Battalion, Rourkela pursuant to the advertisement published by the State Selection Board in the year 2013.

// 2 // Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has no up-to-date instruction to pursue the matter at present.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that considering the nature of grievance raised, that is a challenge to the selection process initiated in the year 2013, nothing would survive for adjudication after lapse of nine years. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of due to lack of instructions from the petitioner granting liberty to revive the same within sixty days for any surviving cause of action.
