This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called. 3.
Heard Mr. K.K. Nayak, learned counsel for the State. 4.
Perused the record.

The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "1. Respondent No.1 and 2 may kindly be directed to the applicant to face computer test examination for the post of Junior Clerk.
2. And further directed to issue appointment order in favour of the applicant in the post of Junior Clerk with effect from the date of joining by any of the respondent no.3 to 5, if any."

On perusal of the writ petition, it is found that the dispute involved in the present writ petition relates to advertisement dated 0303.2011 and the same was published for recruitment of Junior
// 2 // Clerk. However, more than a decade of time has elapsed in the meantime and at this belated stage relief sought in this writ petition cannot be granted and that as the matter has become infructuous with the passage of time.

A counter affidavit has been filed by the Opposite Parties wherein it has been stated that the pursuant to the advertisement, 417 number of candidates were called upon to appear at the computer practical test, a select list of 118 candidates were prepared in category wise. Further the allegations made against the private respondent have been specifically denied in the counter affidavit on the point. It is further stated by learned counsel for the State that the Petitioner was not found suitable and eligible as he did not qualify in the selection as per the advertisement at Annexure-1. 8.
In such view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed as devoid of merit.
