Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner. 3.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the following relief:- "

The applicant, therefore, prays that this Hon'ble Tribunal be graciously pleased to admit this Original Application, call for the records and after hearing the parties allow the same directing the respondents to consider the grievance of the applicant to be appointed as against one of the left out 12 earmarked posts for home guard pursuant to the selection process conducted under Annexure-1 & 2 and issue appointment order in favour of the applicant within a stipulated period.

And for which act of kindness the applicant as in duty bound shall ever pray".

In spite of due service of notice, no counter affidavit has been filed. But taking into account the relief claimed in the present Writ Petition, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending here.

Accordingly, the Petitioner is permitted to make a detailed representation before opposite party No.2 within a period of three weeks from today hence.

It is observed that if such a representation is filed within the aforesaid period, the opposite party No.2 shall take a decision on the same on its own merit within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation. The order so passed by the opposite party No.2 be communicated to the Petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the Writ Petition (OAC) is disposed of.
