This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had earlier approached this Court in BLAPL No. 257 of 2018 and this Court by order dated 15.03.2019 while rejecting the prayer for bail of the petitioner, directed the learned trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Learned counsel further submitted that in spite of the said order, there is no progress in the trial. In view of such submission, let a status report be called for from the learned trial Court, i.e. Addl. Sessions Judge, Chhatrapur in S.T. Case No. 217 of

// 2 // 2016.

For such purpose the file be placed before the learned Registrar (Judicial) of this Court, who shall send a copy of this order to the Court concerned immediately through e-mail and the status report shall be furnished through e-mail so as to reach this Court on or before 20th April 2022.
