1. This is an application by the Petitioner seeking restoration of CRLMC No.837 of 2017 which was dismissed for non-prosecution by an order dated 28th October, 2022.

2. The Court finds no merits in the present application particularly since on the date on which the learned counsel for the Petitioner chose to remain absent, there was nothing preventing the Petitioner from appearing either physically or virtually.
