This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he has no instruction in the matter.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that that with the passage of time the Petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation and as such, the writ petition has become infructuous.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, the Petitioner is given liberty to revive this application by filing an appropriate petition in the event the cause of action still survives.
