Appellant Mr. S.K. Samal, Advocate -versusState of Odisha & Others ....
Respondents Mr. Debakanta Mohanty, AGA
CORAM:
THE CHIEF JUSTICE JUSTICE M. S. RAMAN Order No.
ORDER
23.11.2022 09.
I.A. No.1083 of 2019 and W.A. No. 685 of 2019
1. There is an extraordinary delay of 219 days in filing the present writ appeal. The only explanation is that "office of the advocate of the appellant made all attempt to inform the appellant but failed". The Court is not convinced with the explanation offered. It was for the Appellant to have followed up the matter with the lawyer. Consequently, the Court is not inclined to condone the delay.
2. Accordingly, the I.A. for condonation of delay is dismissed. Consequently, the writ appeal is dismissed.
