Heard Mr. D. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition claiming for extension of lease period, which was granted from 01.04.2020 to 03.08.2022, in respect of Inamtaliamapalli Road Metal Quarry under Rule-8(4) of the OMMC Rules, 2016.

Mr. D. Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner may be permitted to file a fresh representation before the authority highlighting the grievances, and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time to which learned State Counsel has no objection. 5.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the record, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the authority agitating his grievances for extension of lease period

within a period of ten days. In the event the petitioner files a fresh representation, the authority shall consider and dispose of the same by passing an appropriate order in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks thereafter. 6.

With the above observation & direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
