CORAM:

JUSTICE M.S. SAHOO Order No.

ORDER

04.03.2022 01.

This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

RJ None appears for the petitioner.

The writ petition has been registered before this Court on 8th December, 2021, after the original application was transferred from the learned State Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack upon its abolition.

On perusal of the available order sheets of the learned Tribunal, it is indicated that though the matter was filed on 01.10.2013 but it was never taken up/moved for admission.

The petitioner/applicant had filed the original application inter alia praying for selecting him as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) (Arts) for engagement as Contract Teacher in Government and Upgraded High Schools. It was further prayed that the education of the applicant i.e. Sikshya Shastri has to be treated equivalent as B. Ed.

// 2 // Learned Standing Counsel submits that after long lapse of time, nothing would survive for adjudication. Considering the nature of grievances as well as the prayer sought for before the Tribunal for a selection process which was initiated vide Advertisement dated 08.06.2013 published in the daily News paper "Nijukti Khabar" nothing would survive for the present to be adjudicated.

Considering the above, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed granting liberty to the petitioner to revive the same within ninety days for any surviving cause of action.
