1. Heard learned counsels for the Petitioners and the State.
2. By means of this application, the Petitioners seek grant of bail U/s.438 Cr.P.C. in apprehension of arrest for their alleged involvement in the offences U/s. 341/323/294/307/34, I.P.C. and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act, in connection with Pipili P.S. Case No.559 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.834 of 2022 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C., Pipili.
3. Learned counsel for the State, on instruction, submits that Petitioner No.1 is having three criminal antecedents to his credit and Petitioner No.2 is having five criminal antecedents to his credit.
4. Having regard to the aforesaid number of criminal antecedents standing to the credit of the Petitioners, and the seriousness and gravity of the offences involved in the present case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail in favour of the present
// 2 // Petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected and the ABLAPL stands dismissed.
