None appears for the Petitioner when the matter is called. 3.

Heard Mr. P.C. Das, learned counsel for the State. 4.

On examination of the petition, it appears that the application has been filed for a direction to promote the Petitioner to the post of BEE along with others w.e.f. 19.04.2008 with consequential service benefits. It appears that the matter has become infructuous with the passage of time.

However since none appears for the Petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
