Heard Mr. R.K.Acharya, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Maharana, learned Sr. Panel Counsel.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following prayer:- " It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be please to admit the writ application, Issue notice to the Opposite Parties to show cause as to why appropriate direction shall not be issued to initiate proceeding under the Land Acquisition Act and to pay due compensation to the petitioner for illegal occupation of Plot No.112/212 area Ac.2.620 dec. of land and Plot No.111/214 area Ac.0.100 dec. of land corresponding to Khata No.114 of Mouza-Rangamatia in the district of Nayagarh recorded in the name of the petitioner, And if the Opposite Parties do not show cause or show insufficient cause, issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the Opposite Parties to initiate a proceeding under the provision of Land Acquisition Act and pay due and adequate compensation to the petitioner".

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner states that
highlighting his grievances, the Petitioner has made a representation to Opposite Party No.2 vide Annexure-2 and the same may be directed to be considered within a stipulated time, to which learned Counsel for the State has no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the Writ Petition directing Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-2, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
