According to Mr.Mohapatro, the petitioner is aggrieved by the non-disposal of his application filed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 styled as L.A. Misc. Case No. 80 of 2016 arising out of L.A.C. No. 8 of 2011 pending before the Zone Officer, Upper Indravati Irrigation Project, Kusumkhunti (opposite party No.2). In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the opposite party No.2 to dispose of the said case expeditiously.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.2 to dispose of the L.A. Misc. Case No. 80 of 2016 arising out of L.A.C. No. 8 of 2011 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
