1. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State.
2. By means of this application under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in apprehension of arrest for his alleged involvement in the offence under Sections 380, I.P.C. in connection with Kumbharpada P.S. Case No.331 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.2943 of 2021 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Puri.
3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner fairly submits that there is more than two Criminal Antecedents standing to the credit of the present Petitioner.
4. Considering such submission, the nature of allegation and seriousness and gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected and the ABLAPL stands dismissed. (Chittaranjan Dash) Judge S.K. Parida
