The grievance of the Petitioner is that though he has filed a R.P. Case No.5385 of 2001 before the Opposite Party No.1-Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Orissa, Cuttack for recording his name in respect of his purchased property, the same has not yet been disposed of. As such, he has come to this Court seeking a direction to the Opposite Party No.1 to admit the aforesaid revision and dispose of the same within a stipulated period, as it is pending since 23rd July, 2001.

Considering the facts and submissions made, this Court is not inclined to give such a direction. However, liberty is given to the Petitioner to make a mention before the Opposite Party No.1-Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Orissa, Cuttack to take the aforesaid revision for early disposal of the same. If such a mention is made, it is hope and trust that the Opposite Party No.1 will do the needful.

It is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merit of the case of the Petitioner in any manner. 6.

With the aforesaid order, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
