This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Original Application No.2048 (C) of 2017 was filed before the Odisha Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack. After its abolition, the same has been transferred to this Court which is renumbered as WPC (OAC) No. 2048 of 2017.

The petitioner challenged the action of the opposite parties in fixing the eligibility criteria on the ground that the same is contrary to statutory rules provided under PMR 660(a).

At the time of hearing today, Mr. G.R. Sethi, advocate for the petitioner submitted that the relief claimed for does not survive any more and the matter has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
