This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Assailing the order dtd. 03.09.2021 passed by the Learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Puri in Special G.R. Case No. 45 of 2021 taking cognizance is assailed.

During course of submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner did not want to press the matter on merits and sought leave of the Court to surrender and move for bail and accordingly, it is directed that in the events, the petitioner surrenders within a period of three weeks hence before the Court in seisin of the matter, and moved for bail, such bail application shall be considered on its own merits. For a period of three weeks, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.

It is needless to state here that in the event, the petitioner does not surrender within the period as prescribed. It shall be open to the Investigating Agency to take recourse for apprehension of the petitioner in accordance with law.

The CRLMC accordingly stands disposed of.
