This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.
2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "To issue notice for show cause and call for the records and on perusal of causes shown if any and upon insufficient causes shown be pleased to declare the applicant deemed to have been promoted to the post of Headmaster w.e.f dt.22.4.2006 when his juniors were given promotion within a stipulated time and accordingly fixed the scale of pay of the applicant as Headmaster w.e.f said date and arrears as well as pension and pensionary benefits be disbursed as per the revised scale and may pass such other order/orders as deemed just and proper."

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation under Annexure-3 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
